Other great projects were not included in the top 25 either. There is no way that all the valuable projects could be. BUT everyone has a running start on next year - start gathering facts and figures and begin to create your 2009 project now. Remembering the tips and techniques that you saw that seemed to make one project shine over another, use them to create that Arts & Culture project that will be outstanding. Good luck!

I find it horrible that arts and culture was not included. These types of programs are the heart and soul of our communities, and also among the most likely now to first feel the funding squeeze.

No Arts & Culture in the top 25?

I find it unfortunate that the top 25 projects do not include anything that falls under Arts & Culture. I think that American Express should rethink their ad campaign full of artists if their advisory panel does not pick anything to promote arts and culture in America.
